The new funding from responsAbility will be used to supplement working capital, upgrade processing capacity, minimize post-harvest losses, and promote climate-resilient agricultural models across Nafoods’ value chain.

Mr. Simon Hummel, Co-Head of Sustainable Food at responsAbility, emphasized:

“Nafoods is one of the leading fruit processing companies in Southeast Asia, contributing not only to food security but also to reducing greenhouse gas emissions and supporting smallholder farmers. We believe this partnership will play an important role in building a sustainable food system in Vietnam.”

Mr. Nguyen Manh Hung, Vice Chairman of the Board and CEO of Nafoods Group, shared:

“The green capital from responsAbility and FMO holds strategic significance in realizing Nafoods’ 2025–2030 Strategy. Our goal is to become a pioneering agribusiness in developing a digitalized, green, and sustainable agricultural chain, maintaining our number one position in passion fruit seedlings, and successfully building Nafoods’ consumer product brands worldwide.”

With this transaction, Nafoods has now raised over USD 26 million in green financing, including more than USD 20 million previously secured from the Dutch Entrepreneurial Development Bank (FMO). This strengthened financial position enables Nafoods to accelerate its transformation strategy towards sustainability and digitalization, with the long-term target of USD 200 million in revenue by 2030.
